Today, I'm going to marry the man of my life, Teddy Remus Lupin. The butterflies in my stomach are going crazy, it seems, and I can barely walk without getting dizzy. My best friend, Sam, is helping me get dressed. She is the sweetest, really, and we've been friends since my first day at Hogwarts. The next year, on the same day, I saw Teddy the first time. It was his first year - my second - and he was about to get sorted. I noticed him just because he had blue hair, but I didn't bother as I thought he had dyed it. Tonks shifted slightly in her sleep, one hand resting on her swollen belly. Remus smiled before planting a light kiss on her forehead and sliding out of bed. He hated that he had to do this once a month.

The first thing Tonks saw when she opened her eyes Christmas morning was white.
She closed her eyes and then squinted through them carefully, letting them adjust to the brightness before her.
Finally, she realized that she was lying in bed facing the window. The curtains were wide open and...it was snowing, a thick layer already covering the world, blanketing it and making everything beautiful and new. Large, fluffy flakes continued to dance slowly, but steadily to the ground, adding the winter wonderland it had already created overnight. It was the first snow.
